Rehearsals

Our rehearsals are held at ETNA (East Twickenham Neighbourhood Association) in Rosslyn Road, Twickenham, TW1 2AR. if you click on the picture you'll get connected to directions.

We rehearse from 6.45pm to 8.30pm on term-time Thursdays.

Join us!

We welcome new members. We are the most friendly choir in the Universe*. We are directed by Chris Mitchell, who used to head up the Music Department at Richmond College, and are accompanied brilliantly on the piano by Pam Kent.

Our repertoire aims at two main concerts a year, one just before Christmas, and the other around midsummer in June or early July. If you are late in joining up, we think that you should be able to catch up if you join before just after Easter for the summer concert, or Halloween for the Christmas one.

We record our rehearsals so if you miss one, you can listen to it.

The starting point to joining is to come and try us out. You can turn up to a rehearsal or two and see what you think. Our newsletter contains links to our music as well, so you can see what we're planning to sing. Link below.

How much is it?

Our standard subscription is £75 a term.

What else goes on?

We do hold informal social events when we can. The choir has also taken part in a number of foreign tours, making friends with other choirs in Spain, Germany and France, and inviting them to come and sing with us.

We have also been asked to sing at Ham House, and Hampton Court Palace in the past and continue to be involved in musical events at Marble Hill Park. We have a regular sing-song at a local retirement home.

How formal is it?

We're not an evening dress and long frock sort of choir at all. The emphasis is on enjoying music and exploring its astonishing variety. Members often suggest pieces for us to sing and that is wonderful.
