This is the website for Richmond Community Choir

Probably not a surprise, but if you are surprised, then why not take a seat and click around for a while anyway?

What's it all about?

Richmond Community Choir is a choir! Yes.  We are a four part choir (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass).  The choir started up as an evening class at Richmond College, but has been independent for some time now as a not for profit trust with charitable objects.

We now meet on term-time Thursday evenings, from 6.45pm to 8.30pm. Click the link to find out more!

Where?

The name sort of gives it away, but we are based in  Twickenham. in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Taking part

The choir has always had the ethos of encouraging singing.  We don't do auditions, and all we ask is that you can hold a tune.  You do not need to be able to read music (it helps, but is not essential).

What do we sing?

Not quite everything, but we do have a very varied repertoire.  We do shorter pieces from many times and many places.
